Preferred Method: Four wires (28ga suggested) are added to the existing pyrometer wires thru the loom. These wires extent from the basket to the crown ring, and are fitted with appropriate connectors. At the location of the pyrometer, a temperature sensor is spliced into the new wires. During inflation, the anemometer is attached to the crown ring with velcro and connected to the wires. The Flight Recorder is attached to the basket with a strap and connected to the wires.
Alternate Method: Four wires (28ga suggested) are attached to the Crown rope with a connector at each end. During inflation, the anemometer is attached to the crown ring with velcro and connected to the wires. After stand up, the Crown rope is secured to the uprights, the Flight Recorder is attached to the basket with a strap and connected to the wires attached to the Crown rope. The Flight Recorder is classified as a PED (Portable Electronic Device).
